The 1er cru “Clos d'Audignac” covers 0.80 hectares and faces North-East. The plot is made up of marl and limestone scree. Aging in oak barrels renewed at 20% in new wood for 15 months. Le Clos d'Audignac offers us a Volnay of character whose nose opens slowly on a great refinement of Pinot. First nose built around sweet spices and subtle woody notes. Evolution shows marked notes of wild black fruits and fresh roses. The mouth is straight and well elongated, firm tannins which still deserve a little time to soften.
