Rhu is a blend of 85% syrah and 15% cariñena, all from high-altitude vineyards in the Elqui Valley in the middle of the Andes Mountains—especially the cariñena, with vineyards more than 2000 meters high. After 36 months of aging in foudres, it seems to be just starting its evolutionary path in the bottle.
